Using your Pocket LOOX
Set the display to portrait or landscape format.

In addition, you can select whether the user interface is to be displayed in portrait or landscape format.
In settings, tap on the screen symbol:
Tap on the display icon.
Select portrait or landscape format.
Ta p o n
to close the window and apply the settings.
In ad dition, you can set the language as w ell as the colo r of the user interface.

General information on energy man
agement
The battery operating time depends greatly o n the applications used. Please consider that a
particularly large amount of energy is required to play sound les. Therefore, if you want to work
for an extended time in battery mode, limit the use of energy-intensive applications.
Data excha nge with a PC or notebook also consumes additional battery power. T herefore, always
connect your Pocket LOOX to an electrical outlet during data exchange if possible.

You can save e nergy in several ways to optimize battery operating time:
Switch the Pocket LOOX into Suspend mode when you are not using it (see chapters
"
Conguring S uspend mode", Page 30 and "Switching the Pocket LO OX on and
off during normal use (Suspend mode)", Page 12).
Reduce the screen lighting (see
chapter "
Adjusting screen lighting", Page 28).
Switch off the s ound, reduce th e volume o r only allow acoustic signals for certain
applications (see chapter "
Adjust ing the volume", Page 27).
